Washington Market Park Pumpkin Carving Contest
Halloween may feel different this year, but our friends at Washington Market Park are hosting some outdoor fun, with their annual pumpkin carving contest. Families are invited to bring their already-carved or decorated pumpkin to the park entrance on Saturday, October 31, anytime between 11 am and 1 pm.

The pumpkin entries then will be arranged inside the park along the Greenwich Street fence between Duane and Reade Streets for the neighborhood to stroll by and admire. Pumpkin entries will be judged in five categories: cutest, scariest, funniest, most creative, and most realistic. There also will be an overall winner.

The winning pumpkins and their photos will be announced via the park’s Instagram and Facebook accounts by 2pm. To learn more, visit the Washington Market Park website HERE.
