BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center is proud to present ArtsPower National Touring Theater’s production of Are You My Mother? on Sunday, April 8th at 1:30 PM. Tribeca PAC is located on 199 Chambers Street (BMCC campus). At long last, Baby Bird emerges from her shell and expects to be greeted by her mother’s song. But her mother is not there. Where is she? Why isn’t she home? With the help of Dog, Cat, and Hen, Baby Bird sets out in search of Mother Bird in this colorful musical adventure based on P.D. Eastman’s whimsical and well-loved picture book. Ages 3 to 8.
Also, coming up is Tall Stories of London’s production of The Gruffalo: Live on Stage on Sunday, May 20th at 1:30 PM. Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there? Songs laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, in the much-loved show that’s toured Britain and the world! Tall Stories of London.” Ages 3 to 10.
