The “Throwback Thursday Summer Film Series” continues with a screening of the 1993 classic “The Sandlot”. The PG-rated film is set in the summer of 1962 and features a cast of young boys and their summer of baseball and adventures. Attendees to the free screening are invited to enjoy free popcorn as well. The film series includes a special feature this year: “The Viewer’s Choice.” During the weeks leading up to the final film, which will be screened on August 23, viewers can vote for their favorite “throwback” film at 28Liberty.com/Events. The winning film will be announced this week.
