Think Possible Workshop: Presenting the Weather with Al Roker!
Think Possible Workshop: Presenting the Weather with Al Roker! America’s favorite weatherman, Al Roker, will host the next “Think Possible” workshop! Al will share his expertise and the science behind his profession by leading participants in a first-ever workshop on presenting the weather and meteorology. The audience will also have the opportunity to interact with a green screen set-up and present the weather themselves!
The event will be the second of the “Think Possible” workshops, a series of community events led by a diverse group of influencers and thought leaders all dedicated to showcasing the power of a great education and raising awareness about the failing schools crisis.
Don’t Steal Possible is a grassroots movement focused on ending the education crisis that traps thousands of children in failing New York schools. The workshop aims to spark creative passions among New Yorkers and to support the right of all New York children to have access to great schools.
Al Roker, host and weatherman of NBC’s Today Show, along with Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer, has the undivided attention of the nation (over 32 million viewers per week) every weekday morning as America prepares for work.
Spanning a 35-year plus career and a thirteen-time Emmy winner, Al conducts interviews with celebrities and newsmakers around the world and does a wide variety of segments on every imaginable subject. He is the host of NBC’s annual holiday network specials, such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center, and The Rose Bowl Parade.
