The Irish Festival at the Children’s Museum of Art. Join the amazing folks at the Children’s Museum of Art to celebrate the diversity of New York City, as they present their sixth annual series of Multicultural Festivals that celebrate the artistic and cultural traditions of different communities. Kids of all ages will have a chance to learn about the Irish culture, listen to traditional songs and engage in a ton of Irish fun! Arrive early as this will be a busy weekend for the museum, if the cold weather continues to linger.

 

Saturday, March 29th Schedule: 

  • 12p  Niall Connolly Folk Songs Performance

  • 1p Niall Connolly Folk Songs Performance

  • 2p – 4p Darrah Carr Dance Performance and Workshop

Sunday, March 30th Schedule: 

  • Times TBD “Irish Dance Is Fun” Workshops and Performances with the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance

  • 2p – 4p  Collette Murphy Paper Boats Workshop

Times: 10a – 5p

Cost: Free with general admission $11/per person (children under 1 are free and Seniors over the age of 65 are free)
