The Downtowner Welcomes Nicole Craft from the Hideaway Seaport

Little Water Radio is excited to welcome Nicole Craft to “The Downtowner” radio show. Craft began her career in her hometown of Oklahoma City, when she started working in local cafes.

In her early twenties, she moved to Spain where she worked in a restaurant that specifically used local products from la boqueria in Barcelona, this is when she began to appreciate utilizing local markets. When Craft moved to New York, after several years of traveling and learning tricks of the trade, she was able to apply everything she learned in Tribeca at a variety of g0-to spots, including Bar Tartine, Roberta’s Pizza, Spotted Pig, Five Leaves and Brooklyn Fare.

Recently, she started working with Local Roots CSA in her restaurant. Now she has the ability to apply her creativity and experience to build unique dishes based off of the seasonal fare from local farmers.

Nicole has been the chef of the Hideaway TriBeCa and most recently the Hideaway Seaport. Tune in to find out more about farm to table, the foodie scene downtown and what is like to be a part of the Seaport community.

Date: Thursday, February 2nd
Time: 10am – 11am
