Swedish Midsummer Festival in Battery Park

The annual Swedish Midsummer Festival in Lower Manhattan’s Battery Park City is back! At this unique celebration, adults and kids come together to picnic in the grass, decorate the midsummer pole, make flower wreaths, play traditional games and dance to authentic fiddle music.

Some of New York’s finest Scandinavian restaurants and food purveyors – Smorgas Chef / Crepe du Nord, Fika, Nordic Preserves, Red Rooster and Gigino at Wagner Park – will host food stands offering Swedish picnic-style delicacies.
