Space Oddities Storytime
Battery Park City Library Space Oddities Storytime. The Battery Park City Branch is New York Public Library’s first green LEED certified branch in Manhattan. The Battery Park City Library hosts many programs that are great for children of all ages. And, introducing them to the library at an early age, encourages a love of books. Little listeners can enjoy great books, lively songs and rhymes, and meet other children from the neighborhood. Storytime is a great way to encourage listening skills, vocabulary and imagination.
Join FiDi Families for a special storytime…”Space Oddities”. This fun storytime will invite little ones to explore the Earth, the Sun, surrounding planets, stars, constellations and more. It’s a wonderful way to showcase big ideas to the younger set, in an informal and fun manner. Participants will learn about life on other planets and learn about astronauts and explorations of the moon. “Space Oddities” is presented by the Children’s Museum of Manhattan.
