South Street Seaport Museum Seasonal Opening
South Street Seaport Museum Seasonal Opening. With the sunshine and warm temperatures finally seeming to stick, the ships on Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport Museum are officially re-opening. Go explore the 4-masted 1911 Barque PEKING and 1907 Lightship AMBROSE, and imagine what life would be like on board. You can even download the MustSee self-guided tour for some of the boats, and Pioneer sails from the pier daily throughout the season.
This event will have several other great activities for the whole family from a Seaport Scavenger Hunt to a Mobile Print Shop where Browne Printers will demonstrate why job printing rose to prominence in the 19th century.
