Children of all ages are invited to use their imaginations and explore the Plains Indian’s ledgers and create their own modern day version of an NYC ledger. The exhibit provides an overview of the Plains Indian ledger art. Children can create their own drawing on ledger paper using crayons, colored pencils, and stencils.

The museum boasts some beautiful exhibits and illustrates the history of the American Indian. Visitors can view masks from the Northwest Coast of North America, pottery and basketry from the southwestern United States, and archaeological objects from the Caribbean. Thousands of artifacts are on display in celebration of the Native populations of the Western Hemisphere. The museum also features an “Especially for Kids” series of videos, which are screened daily.
