Sidewalk Art At The Skyscraper Museum

Skyscraper Museum
Sidewalk Art At The Skyscraper Museum! Come to the Skyscraper Museum for a different perspective! After this workshop, visitors will be able to get a view by looking down.

The program start off by having each child sketch a blueprint for a familiar building of their choice. Then the children will go outside and draw their designs in colorful chalk on the sidewalk! This will create a rainbow cityscape for all to enjoy!

The Skyscraper Museum hosts a rotating repertoire of Family Programs on Saturday mornings, in which children engage with an educator to explore the principles of urbanism, architecture, and engineering through hands-on activities.

Surrounded by images, film, and models of past, present, and future skyscrapers, children and their guardians are exposed to the changing exhibitions in the gallery.

Registration is requested by Friday at 5 PM! Saturday Family Programs at The Skyscraper Museum are presented in partnership with the Battery Park City Authority.

Date: Saturday, July 11th
