Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure” in Battery Park

Celebrating its 16th season at Battery Park, join FiDi Families for a unique telling of Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure”. This roving production, as described by the New York Classical Theatre, tells the story of Vienna, which had been a free and open society, but in this telling, highlights the fact that Vienna is bitterly divided between morals and commerce. It’s a casual and informal way of introducing culture and art to your children, without the financial commitment of a performance at Lincoln Center or on Broadway. So, round up the family and introduce children to the wonders of the theatre, without the trek to the Theatre District and business of Times Square. The New York Classical Theatre presents “Measure for Measure” in Battery Park at Castle Clinton.
