Just two more nights of Shakespeare Downtown’s two week show of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This new, non-profit acting company evolved from 11 successful theatrical productions at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Shakespeare Downtown’s goal is to give audiences a chance to experience Shakespeare’s plays as they were 400 years ago. Enjoy these free, open-air performances of Romeo and Juliet at Castle Clinton National Monument, a historic fort in The Battery.

Keep in mind that this production does not have an intermission. Tickets are available at Castle Clinton starting at 6 pm the day of the performance. There will be seating for 200 people a night.
