Schimmel Center at Pace University Presents THEOREM with Greg Kennedy
One of the most amazing jugglers in the nation is Greg Kennedy, a former member of Cirque du Soleil. He is headed to the Schimmel Center at Pace University, which is a big honor for Lower Manhattan. His imagery and juggling are hard to put into words, but the folks at the Schimmel Center at Pace University managed to do just that…
“After touring worldwide with Cirque du Soleil for five years, Greg Kennedy is getting rave reviews for his newest production, Theorem. The two-time international juggling champion and his cast of circus artists perform a show that playfully explores the process of invention through modern manipulation. Theorem is filled with striking, powerful images, and features live music, five-person choreography, aerial acrobatics and Greg’s largest dynamic structures”.
Originally trained as an engineer, Greg uses the principles of geometry and physics to create groundbreaking work with original apparatus. As a young juggler he quickly made a name for himself in the juggling community not only by his mastery of traditional juggling technique, but also for creating entirely new forms of manipulation. He is now renowned for his many original contributions to juggling as an art form. Jugglers know him for his award-winning creativity; audiences know him for his entertaining performance, making visual spectacles out of everyday objects.
