River and Blues Concert! Battery Park Conservancy brings you Alex P. Suter and The Ministry of sound! Come enjoy a FREE night of music and fun! Grab a blanket and pack a picnic-style dinner and make your way to Robert Wagner Park! Sunset over the Hudson River is the perfect end to a summer day!

Alex Suter, a Brooklyn native, grew up singing singing gospel in church. He was formerly featured as a vocalist on many underground house and dance records in the 90’s, and is now fronting an eclectic blues band. Her powerful and unique voice is preferred by many.

Suter and The Minsters of Sound have performed all over the East Coast and were regulars at the Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble Sessions in Woodstock, NY. Enjoy their range of styles from soul to blues to classic rock! You will be blown away by their high energy during this unforgettable experience for the whole family! 

The Battery Park City Parks Conservancy is excited about the remainder of their 2015 calendar of events! Enjoy music, theater, dancing, storytelling, art, fishing, nature talks and other sports and play activities through October 31st! There’s something for everyone!
