Pretty Kitty Project. The Vet Set, Dr. Catsby, and Petsmile will host special event tomorrow for NYC cat owners for the #PrettyKittyProject. This event will shed light specifically on cat dental health.
The #PrettyKittyProject events will include free Q & A with Dr. Taylor Truitt and Dr. Eva Radke from The Vet Set, a chance to pose with a giant inflatable Dr. Catsby, and free samples of Petsmile for your cat.
The goal of the #PrettyKittyProject is to promote regular oral health maintenance and check-ups for your pets. The American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) has found that periodontal disease is the most common clinical condition in dogs and cats, which occurs as early as three years of age.
Pet lovers are encouraged to attend this event to bring awareness to the dental health crisis and to celebrate healthy teeth and gums everywhere. Don’t forget to share a photo of your pets’ smile on The Vet Set Facebook page using hashtag #PrettyKittyProject to promote pet dental health and this event.
The Vet Set was founded by Dr. Taylor Truitt and Dr. Eva Radke to bring the best veterinary care to your home, office, or hotel in Manhattan and Brooklyn every day of the week. Eliminate the stress and anxiety of an office visit and let The Vet Set come to you. They offer preventative medicine, vaccines, diagnostic testing, health certificates, acupuncture, and hospice care. Follow The Vet Set on Facebook, Twitter: @TheVetSetNYC, and Instagram to learn more.
Cats are subject to “whisker fatigue,” which is when the whiskers become sensitive when they are in contact with the side of bowls. This causes for cats to eat less and associate mealtime with pain. Dr. Catsby’s Bowls can prevent whisker fatigue and end your cat’s mealtime pain. For more information, follow Dr. Catsby on Facebook, Twitter: @DrCatsby, and Instagram.
Petsmile is the only pet toothpaste recommended by the Veterinarian Oral Health Council (VOHC) for healthier teeth and gums. It quickly dissolves in your pet’s mouth to remove and prevent plaque, freshen breath, maintain healthy gums, remove stains, and eliminate germs. Petsmile is safe for all breeds and sizes. Follow Petsmile on Facebook and Twitter: @PetSmileUSA for more information.
