Preschool Art

Preschool Art on Thursday’s! Very young artists are introduced to paper, clay, wood, and paint. Each Thursday an art educator will present a new art project perfectly planned for toddler and preschooler skills. All materials are provided!

Dress for a mess! While the kids get creative, parents and caretakers can enjoy the beautiful views of the Hudson River and the splendor of Rockefeller Park’s lawns and plant life.

This program was great during the school year and is even better to add to the summer routine! Children will learn, imagine, and create. Preschool Art meets by the Park House at Rockefeller Park; enter the park near Murray Street.

Battery Park City extends for over a mile along the Hudson River, from Chambers Street South to the Battery in Lower Manhattan. Battery Park City Park Conservancy believes in developing an environmental consciousness to the public. They carry this vision out through programs they offer and the amazing upkeep of the land throughout Battery Park.

Rockefeller Park contains most of BPC Parks’ wide lawns, in addition to a large playground, plantings and gardens, public art pieces, and a sheltered pavilion. BPC Parks staff are also available to provide assistance and information at the Park House, off River Terrace between Murray Street and Park Place West.
