Are you looking for creative ways to get the kids outdoors without enrolling them in an organized activity? If so, the Battery Park Conservancy sponsors a Parkhouse, which offers free access to toddler basketball hoops/balls, foosball, table hockey and tons of other equipment perfect for kids of all ages at Rockefeller Park in the northern section of Battery Park. In addition, they have two pool tables along the water that kids love. There are swings for both little kids and big kids and a children’s library that is perfect for family storytime.
The Parkhouse season is ending soon (end of October), so grab some sweaters and jackets and head out to this gorgeous spot for a fun day of outdoor activities.

FiDi Families Insiders: A public restroom is located across the street from the Parkhouse and is well-maintained.
