NYC Parks Experience Summer Day Camp Program. This summer program is a great way to get your kids to engage in sports, fitness and outdoor fun. The NYC Parks Experience Summer Day Camp program is an exciting chance for children ages 6 to 13 to have a fun-filled summer! Your child will engage in sports, fitness, and outdoor adventure and take part in many of New York City’s rich cultural and educational opportunities.
Last year’s camp activities included: arts and crafts, computer classes, cultural and educational trips, field games (kickball, soccer, wiffleball, relay races), outdoor activities with the Parks’ Urban Park Rangers, such as bird watching, canoeing, fishing and hiking, and sports clinics.
Specific activities, dates, and trip destinations this year will depend upon the camp location.
Registration runs from Friday, March 7 – Sunday, March 16, 2014
FiDi Families Insiders: This is not a first come, first served system. You may register at any time during the registration period for an equal chance in the lottery.
Dates: July 7th – August 22nd
Ages: 6 – 13
Regular Day from 8am – 5pm (M-F) with a fee of $500 for 7 weeks
Extended Day from 8am – 6pm (M-F) with a fee of $575 for 7 weeks
There are only a limited number of spots available so applications must be submitted in order to participate in a lottery.
