New FiDi Neighborhood Association

New FiDi Neighborhood Association

Welcome the newly formed Financial District Neighborhood Association. President, Patrick Kennell is father of two children who created this group a year ago to create a forum that will address the issues raised by the rising residential population in the Financial District.

FiDi was always known as a center of commerce. Its residential population has skyrocketed in recent years to more than 60,000, and is projected to grow to over 80,000 residents within two years.

Mr. Kennell hopes for the FiDi Neighborhood Association to better the community by bringing families together and helping to improve the neighborhood feel through adding color to the streetscape, removing scaffolding covering buildings, and creating a plan for more efficient trash pickup.

FiDi is home to the fastest growing residential population in Manhattan. Be apart of where you lilvd, work, and play. Get to know the Financial District Neighborhood Association and learn more about how you can help make this growing neighborhood even better.

For all those interested in these topics and more, attend the kickoff meeting Thursday, February 11th from 6:30p – 7:30p at the Pine Street School (25 Pine Street, between Nassau and William Streets).
