Music & Movement In Spanish
Music & Movement in Spanish. This unique and experiential learning class teaches your children with a fun approach to music. The combination of music and spanish turns two different subjects into one. Through music games and familiar songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Five Little Monkeys in Spanish, students will learn the basics of music, rhythm, singing, and dancing.
This class meets over two sessions. The event location and time is the same for both dates. The classes are held in a child-friendly NORY studio in Chelsea.
The class will include a Meet & Greet, Introducing each one of the kids to the class, a Spanish warm-up, learning and singing to the major scale, learning three songs in Spanish, a quick three minute “nap time,” the rhythm train, and a good-bye song in Spanish.
Jucita Clusellas is a guitarist, composer, singer and music teacher originally from Argentina. She is currently working in NYC after graduating from Berklee College of Music, where she studied guitar performance and composition. She has performed internationally and released her first album of original music this year. The album features a group of 16 musicians from 10 different countries. She has spent the last 8 years teaching music to kids.
