The Muddy Puddles Project 5th Annual Mess Fest!

The Muddy Puddles Project 5th Annual Mess Fest!

FiDi Families is excited to invite our fellow New Yorkers to an amazing event that embraces family and giving back and also happens to feature one of our favorite characters, Peppa Pig. As a parent and a family that have lost many to cancer, both young and old, we believe in this incredible program and hope to see you at this outdoor extravaganza!

The Muddy Puddle Event Encourages ‘Kids to Be Kids’ in Honor of Those Who Can’t

The Muddy Puddles Project is focused on childhood cancer research and honors Ty Louis Campbell, who lost his battle with brain cancer at the age of 5. Ty loved the kids’ TV character Peppa Pig and dreamed of jumping in muddy puddles, just like Peppa, when his cancer was cured, but he never got the chance. The Muddy Puddles Project is celebrating its 5th year of honoring and remembering Ty by hosting an event where kids are encouraged to simply be “kids” and honor his memory by laughing, playing, and getting messy! This special event has been coined the “Woodstock for kids” and shining a light on childhood cancer research is its mission with the help of everyone who attends this daylong festival.

About the TLC Foundation: The Muddy Puddles Project was created as a fundraising platform for the Ty Louis Campbell (TLC) Foundation for childhood cancer research to improve the survival rates for all children diagnosed with cancer. Parents everywhere participate by taking photos of instances where they let their children have some extra messy fun, and share the photos, along with uplifting stories, with the MPP Facebook Community. A series of Muddy Puddles Project Mess Fest events and Welly Walk fundraisers take place each year, and supporters are encouraged to host their own!
