McNally Jackson Storytime & Art Virtual Event Featuring Author Katie Yamasaki: “Everything Naomi Loved”
McNally Jackson has announced a new virtual event, geared towards children and it’s free to attend.
Katie Yamasaki (When the Cousins Came, Fish for Jimmy), internationally-acclaimed muralist and author of Everything Naomi Loved, will be live on November 14th, via the McNally Jackson virtual Zoom stage. Katie Yamasaki’s murals and paintings are at once monumental and moving. Everything Naomi Loved entwines a celebration of community and friendship with a vision of social justice in this lyrical and universal story about home. Co-author Ian Lendler is the author of the hilarious, award-winning Stratford Zoo graphic novel series. Katie will read Everything Naomi Loved, then share the backstory and context of her incredible new book. Katie will also lead a cool drawing activity for kids, so have your paper, plus pencils or markers, ready.
