So, I finally caved in and made a reservation for brunch at Landmarc Tribeca, after hearing rave reviews from parents for the last couple of years. I couldn’t imagine how a restaurant that I associate dinner with (and love) could be as spectacular as I have heard. All I can say is – “what took me so long”!?

The entire staff was super friendly and accomodating and let my 2 1/2 year old daughter pick out our table. That alone takes the patience of a pre-school teacher.

Highlights include an extensive kids menu, kid-friendly cups small enough for toddler hands, new crayons and a picture to color on the back of the menu. Ours was a butterfly, which is always a fan favorite.

The kids menu includes the standard chicken fingers and pizza, but it also includes a fruit salad, celery & carrot sticks with hummus & pita, orecchiette with butter or tomato sauce, mac-n-cheese, pigs in a blanket, fish sticks, pb&j, grilled cheese, a burger or chicken burger all for an average price of $8 each. They also have entree sized portions for kids, which includes green eggs & ham, herb roasted chicken, quesadilla or a skirt steak all for $12, which includes apples and bananas.

There were a number of families enjoying their brunch and there were definitely some kids that were fussy and loud, but it didn’t faze the diners or the staff which lends itself to a relaxed atmosphere. They also have 3 bathrooms to accomodate kids and babies that need a changing table.

They also serve their mimosas with a split of champagne and the orange juice in a mini stainless steel pitcher. That’s when I knew that our relationship was sealed!
