Trädbad Explorers is an outdoor natured-based activity for small children ages 4 to 7. Through creative open-air play, children discover the wonders of nature, learn about plants and animals of the forest, and develop a life-long respect for the world we live in. Situated in various locations ranging from nearby forests and local parks, to public greens spaces in urban areas, our Explorers delight in the revelation that large and small wonders of nature can be found anywhere.
Kids are curious!
Trädbad’s Explorers program satisfies childrens’ natural thirst for discovery, while at the same time developing a sense of responsibility for all things living. Each weekly session takes place in a nature-based environment, and begins with a series of exercises geared towards developing fine and gross motor skills by using movements that come naturally to children. Our Explorers then enjoy free play, weekly climate and season-specific teachings, mindfulness exercises, and songs and games that cultivate knowledge, friendship, and a respect for the outdoors. Our programs conclude with circle time, a snack, and clean up time to reinforce that we always leave nature just as we found her — without any footprint.
Through Trädbad Explorers, children learn at young age to feel at home in nature. We strive to ensure that they take these values with them as they grow into world citizens.
