It’s My Park Day at Washington Market Park

Dig out the play clothes and bring your children to Washington Market Park to help celebrate the NYC Parks citywide event, “It’s My Park Day”. This annual event, hosted by Friends of Washington Market Park is very fun and messy and it is also a FiDi Families favorite event. Bring the kids to help plant flowers alongside the park gardener, Sarah. Kids will learn about the various flowers that they will be planting as they volunteer alongside other children. Planting tools will be provided, but if you have some at home, please bring them.

Date: Saturday, October 19th (rain date is October 20th)

Time: 11a – 12p

FiDi Families Insiders: Bring your cameras for some fun photos. And, pack some wipes to clean off dirt-filled hands and smiling faces.
