The Imagination Playground at Burling Slip has announced their hours for the Fall, now that the summer is officially over (boo). Fall hours are from 9am – 6pm, daily as of September 17, 2012. When the weather is unseasonably warm, the staff will try to extend the hours. They have a friendly and patient staff on site to facilitate play.
Imagination Playground provides a flexible environment for many types of play, rather than prescribed activities, through three key components: an open multi-level space with large sand and water features; a huge array of loose parts, essentially a variety of toys and tools; and trained staff on-site who maintain and manage the site.
When the sun is shining bright – bring your sunscreen since there isn’t a lot of shade at this playground. There is both a sand and a water feature so get ready for some cleanup before you head home. The great feature about this playground…a bathroom on site! Imagine that – a bathroom within potty-training distance.
