Do you find your family doing the same thing, weekend after weekend? If so, grab your backpack and fill it with some snacks and water and jump on the subway and head North to…Central Park! This promises to be a super fun adventure unlike any other family activity in NYC. It’s part hike, part scavenger hunt and it’s a great adventure. Hike & Seek is a 1-2 mile hike with activity stations along the way to help kids explore everything that is fun about nature. The event will take place at the Ravine, which features a beautiful pond, more commonly known as “The Pool”. Come hike along waterfalls and rustic bridges – you’ll forget you’re in the heart of the City.
Date: Saturday, October 5th
Time: Arrival time is between 9a – 10a and participants will begin at designated times.
Location: Central Park; Enter from the Westside from 100th to 103rd Streets. If taking the Subway, exit at the 103 Street Stop (lines B and C).
Cost: For Adults (18 and over) the fee is $12 online or $15 the day of the event. For children (17 and under) the fee is $7 online or $9 the day of the event. Please note that all children under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
FiDi Families Insiders: The adventure is on a flat trail but it is unpaved and not stroller accessible.
