Family friendly activities in Lower Manhattan are plentiful given the absence of snow. Enjoy ice skating at Brookfield Place, the Standard Hotel, Bryant Park, Chelsea Piers, Rockefeller Center and of course, in Central Park. Or hop on the Staten Island Ferry, for an up close view of Lady Liberty or for brunch, lunch or dinner, step onto a Hornblower Cruise at Pier 15 for a tour around Lower Manhattan…the sky is the limit this holiday season.
All of the subways are running on schedule and the snow is nowhere to be found. Take the kids out on the scooters and walk around Lower Manhattan. Stop in the new shops at the Seaport District such as Northern Grade or Seaport Studios, and grab a hot chocolate or check out the stores and restaurants that are flourishing in the South Street Seaport. And, if you are really feeling adventerous, hop on the subway and check out the train exhibit at Grand Central or get a glimpse of the Christmas Tree at Rock Center.
We will be posting occasional stories until we are back in the office on January 4th! Then, get ready for great events, exciting promotions and giveaways and a whole lot more. Cheers!
