We here at FiDi Families sure do love Halloween and there are no shortage of amazingly fun and spooky activities to do in our area. Read on for a round up of all the happenings! 

Tribeca: 

Cricket’s Candy Creation

Cricket’s Candy Creation has some Halloween fun planned up all month long. Take part in a real pumpkin patch by booking a ticket for the Sweet and Spooky Halloween Harvest. It is $65 for general admission and $80 for cherry on top ticket which includes a VIP experience. This runs from October 1-21 from 11 am to 6 pm excluding mondays and tuesdays. 

On October 29 and 30 book a ticket for the Trick or Treat Extravaganza which is open 11 am to 6pm with a costume parade at 3pm. $20 per guest (candy crafting sold separately). This fun Halloween event features a costume parade with prizes, face painting, balloon twisting, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, halloween candy, crafts, and so much more.

The Craft Studio

Halloween isn’t just for KIDS! The Craft Studio is hosting a series of Adult Only Halloween Classes at their studio. Join them for Pumpkin Carving events. Decorate, carve and accessorize your own pumpkin, Spooky T Shirt Design and Skull Beaded Jewelry. Check out their full schedule here to reserve a spot

Spooktacular

On Sunday, October 23 at 3 pm the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center presents Spooktacular, a family-friendly, Cirque-Tacular performance sure to bring out your inner eerie. Tickets are $35. For more information and tickets please visit their website here. 

The 411: A cirque du soleil type performance at the BMCC Performing Arts Center perfect for all ages. Tickets are $35 and can be bought  here.  

8th Annual Pumpkin Carving Competition

Washington Market Park is the place to be Halloween Weekend. The 8th Annual Pumpkin Carving Competition is on Saturday, October 29. The pumpkins will be judged in five categories including cutest, scariest, funniest, most creative, and most realistic. Details are still being formed, so check their website to find out more. 

The Park’s Halloween Parade ic back on and will be lead by the Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Marching Corps! Don your costume and march down Greenwich Street to the park. Parade starts at 1 pm on October 30. Meet at N. Moore and Greenwich.

Battery Park City: 

Twentieth Annual BPC Dogs Halloween Puppy Parade

Who doesn’t love a dog in costume? Saturday, October 29th the Twentieth Annual BPC Dogs Halloween Puppy Parade will return to the BPC Esplanade at the South Cove and walk down the waterfront to the North Cove Marina (Volleyball Court) where you and your dog can strut your stuff in front of a panel of judges. All dog owners and dogs (in costume!) should meet at 11:50am.  For the full details check it out here

Brookfield Place

Brookfield Place is excited to welcome back their annual  Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 29, 2022 between 12:00 – 3:00 PM! Trick or treating throughout the food court and all of the retail vendors. Bring your costume-clad kids for a FANGtastic afternoon of activities. For more information check out here

Skyscraper Museum

Join the Skyscraper Museum for Spooky Castle Yoga a FREE CLASS at The Skyscraper on October 29th at 10:30am. Come in costume and stretch your bodies into yoga poses inspired by Halloween. All ages welcome. RSVP Required- sign up here for tickets.

Cauldron NYC

The Cauldron NYC is offering Halloween Potion making as well as pumpkin carving. Book here for either fun and spooktacular experience.

The Rooftop at Pier 17

The Rooftop at Pier 17 is having a Halloween Spooky Movie marathon all day on Sunday, October 30th. The movies are free, open to the public, and no RSVP is required. Concession stands will be open for their regular service. *schedule subject to change

Governor’s Island: 

Pumpkin Point

Pumpkin Point is back! Head to this annual pumpkin patch on October 22-23 or 29-30 from 10 am to 5 pm. Located in historic Nolan Park, you will find over 1000 pumpkins and activities for visitors of all ages. Check their website for ferry times and other information here

The 411: Hop on the ferry and head to Governor’s Island on October 22, 29, 30, 31 for fall fun. 

All Around NYC: 

TopView Sightseeing

The TopView Sightseeing company’s fall offerings are amazing.They have two dedicated Halloween themed events coming up. Buses will offer trick or treat goodies for any children in its boarding range of downtown sightseeing buses. Better yet–hop on the bus while enjoying some sweet and festive candies. 

TopView will also be running a special media competition on Halloween to find the city’s most creatively dressed child. Be on the lookout for their influencers to interview children on what they love most about Halloween–your little one could be featured on their new YouTube channel launching early October. 

And lastly, TopView will run a Kids Spooky Cruise, which will involve face painting, pinata, festive music, and games. For adults there will be yummy snacks and cocktails. Book here. This cruise will run on October 22, 29, 30, and 31 at 1:30 pm leaving from Pier 36.
