The Great Tribeca Scavenger Hunt

 

 

 

 

Bogardus Plaza is sponsoring a scavenger hunt this Sunday  @ 3pm.  It is going to be super fun and involves lots of missions including local trivia questions, location based questions and some creative video/photo missions.  

 

Teams race around the neighborhood searching for clues, completing creative missions and answering trivia questions for points. The top 4 teams will take home bragging rights AND some pretty awesome prizes. You’re not going to want to miss this! Teams are directed to each mission by an iPhone app that known as the “GoGame”.  More details will be shared, upon registration.

Time: 3pm

Location: Bogardus Plaza at Hudson and Reade in Tribeca

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
— The hunt is open to players of all ages, however minors must be accompanied by someone age 16+ 
— Tickets are sold individually, but players need to be in teams of 2-7 (no single players)
— A data-enabled smart phone is required (game is played via a free app)
— Space is limited (max. 40 teams)

HOW IT WORKS

— Each player on a team (over age 7) must purchase an individual ticket
— Teams will check in with their printed tickets at Bogardus Plaza (Hudson St. & Reade St.) and start the game at 3pm.
— Teams will hunt throughout Tribeca for clues, answering trivia, executing missions and head-to-head challenges with other teams for points (90 minutes)
— Winners will be announced & prizes will be awarded immediately follwoing the hunt at Manhattan Youth (Warren St. b/w Greenwich & West St.) at approx. 4:30pm
— Prior to game day, ticketholders will be emailed a pre-game check list, including app downloading instructions for your team captain (only ONE phone will be used per team for the game)

PRIZES

— Prizes will be awarded to the top 4 teams based on points
— The top 4 teams choose (in order from 1st to 4th place) from 4 total prizes
— Prize options include: a case Alit pinot noir ($360)**, a Nintendo Switch ($300), a gift certificate to Tenoverten nail salon ($100) or a gift certificate to Boomerang Toys ($100)
