Free Soccer For Kids! Drop in for free soccer at Rockefeller Park! Come enjoy both the fun and fundamentals of a sport that your children can play for a lifetime! It is a great way to spend Tuesday afternoons during this summer season!
Your children will focus on passing, shooting and footwork through a number of different drills. They’ll learn the important of the basics and being a team player.
After the drill portion of the program, they’ll be given the opportunity to put their skills to the test! Each session ends with a scrimmage, in order for kids to experience game-like situations.Your kids will be sure to walk away with a new skill or even a new friend! There is no better way to get some exercise, fresh air, and have fun. Equipment is provided!
Rockefeller Park is the perfect setting for this soccer program. As the BPC park that has the widest lawns, they’re will be plenty of space for your kids to dribble, shoot, pass, and score! While the scrimmage undergoes you and the rest of your family can enjoy the surroundings of a large play ground, public art pieces, plantings and gardens, or under the sheltered pavilion for some shade! Restrooms and public telephones are located at the Park House in addition to BPC Parks staff to provide assistance and information.
