FDNY 150th Summer Block Party at the FDNY Fire Museum

FDNY 150th Summer Block Party at the FDNY Fire Museum! Please join us for a day of games, food, music and family fun– right in your neighborhood! FDNY will continue the Department’s 150th anniversary celebration by hosting a series of 12 Summer Block Party community events at Firehouses and EMS stations in all five boroughs.

Come celebrate 150 years of the FDNY and their bravery and devotion to New York City!Commissioner Nigro states, “Following the incredible success of our citywide open house events in May, we are inviting New Yorkers of all ages to our firehouses and EMS Stations all summer long to continue the celebration of this historic year.”

At each Summer Block Party, FDNY members will hold demonstrations, offer free fire safety education and conduct tours of FDNY apparatus, including the FDNY150 Fire Truck and Ambulance.  In addition, those attending can take part in free compressions-only CPR classes and learn more about careers within the FDNY. Volunteers from the American Red Cross will also be on hand at all locations to schedule free smoke/carbon monoxide alarm installations.
