The Battery Conservancy is celebrating Earth Day at the Battery Urban Farm in Battery Park. Introduce your kids to Earth Day and being “green” by participating in events such as building a fruit cage for Battery Urban Farm, innoculating a mushroom log (yup), visiting with honeybees and participating in a compost relay race. There will also be a neighborhood swap for both kitchen and clothing items and refrehsments and live music.
