#DisneyKids Preschool Playdate with Sofia the First!
As a kid, growing up in the shadows of Disneyland, alongside the Matterhorn and Space Mountain at Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Southern California, I have always been a fan of all things Disney. And, I always knew that when I had kids, that they would also enjoy the same experiences that I did, at the iconic park in Anaheim, California, even if we did live in New York City. We are visiting the Magic Kingdom in California at the start of 2015 and we are celebrating our 3rd visit to Disney and my 4 and 6 year old are so excited to visit this magical place.
I was recently selected to host a #DisneySide preschool playdate, along with many others, that were held all over the country. Our playdate theme was Sofia the First and my 4 year old was super excited to dress up and celebrate Sofia. Needless to say, inviting our friends and #DisneyKids to dress up and share their #DisneySide was a ton of fun. The playdate included some great toys that were great giveaway items such as the #Megabloks, the Sofia the First puzzle and some great Disney luggage tags that I can’t wait to use with the kids.
The little fans of Sophia the First had a chance to play “Bingo”, an updated version of “Simon Says”, dubbed “Sofia Says” and some other fun, interactive games that kept the girls happy and entertained. The #KineticSand at our #DisneyKids playdate was a hit until our guests discovered they could create indoor snowballs and then it was a beach party.
Kids were in love with the great snacks from #crunchmaster crackers, which are a great alternative to regular processed wheat snacks. The Grammy Crisps were a big hit with the kids and none of them seemed to notice that they were gluten-free and healthy! It’s always nice to find a healthy snack that kids love as much as their parents.
We included the #DisneyMoms in the fun as well. It was a great way to have fun with Moms and their kids and to learn about the wonderful world of #Disney. With luggage tags, princess tiaras and other goodies, it was a great afternoon of fun and showing our #DisneySide!
Don’t forget to tell the kids about the latest episode of “Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy,” on the Disney Channel.
I received free products in order to host the #DisneySide #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate. The opinions expressed here are my own.
