Dine Around Downtown in Food Festival FiDi

The Downtown Alliance is bringing together the community of downtown restaurants for the annual Dine Around Downtown on May 23rd. The foodie event is open to the public and showcases more than 35 restaurants that call downtown home. Tickets well be sold at the event and attendees will have a chance to sample signature dishes from Danny Meyer’s Blue Smoke, The Tuck Room from James Beard award- winning chef Sherry Yard, Iron Chef’s Jose Garce’s Amada, Mario Batali’s Eataly, Fresh Salt from the Seaport and so many more. It is truly a chance to taste some of the downtown food scene’s movers and shakers in a casual atmosphere, with locals. 

Once again, a photo contest will be taking place, encouraging attendees to post a photo of each of their food plates on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, using the hashtag #DownIsWhatsUp to enter the contest. Clearly, the more photos (the more food you eat), the better your chances of winning a two-night stay for two at the W New York-Downtown. 

This fun food event is co-sponsored by the Fosun Group, which manages 28 Liberty Plaza and the Alliance for Downtown, which serves the Lower Manhattan community.
