Design and Build A Model City
Design and Build A Model City! Come to the Skyscraper museum for some creative fun!
Before architects design a skyscraper, they spend time to understand the city where it will be built. Children will discuss the placement of parks, places to eat, shop, play and work throughout their city. They will draw a communal street plan to map out what their city will feature. Young planners will then build their own skyscraper to place their model city. You must RSVP to attend!

The Skyscraper Museum celebrates the City’s architectural heritage and examines the historical aspects and individuals that have shaped the skylines. Come and enjoy exhibitions, programs and publications, to explore the designs of tall buildings, technology, sites of construction, investments in real estate, and places of work and residence.

The Museum was founded in 1996, as a private, not-for-profit, educational corporation based around the study of high-rise buildings from the past, present, and future. Bring your children to experience “cool stuff for kids” at the Kids Learning center!
