Chinese New Year FlyerChinese New Year Family Festival. Celebrate the year of the Monkey with a free lion dance and kung fu performance in front of the China Institute’s new space. After the dance and show stop inside for traditional food and New Year inspired fun with workshops and activities.

Programming is both ticketed and free at this event. Ticketed events include a dumpling making workshop, paper cutting, and paper lantern workshops. Ticketed events will occur twice throughout the day, don’t forget to register!

Free programming includes the lion dance and kung fu performance, traditional Chinese New year foods, face painting, learn about Chinese New year, and interactive storytelling of The Legend of the Monkey.
