Central Park Ice Festival
This is way out of the hood but worth the subway ride or taxi ride to Central Park. This Valentine’s weekend, celebrate your love of Central Park’s sculptures at Central Park Conservancy’s sixth annual Ice Festival. Guests will witness ice-carving artists use electric chain saws, chisels, and picks to create a beautiful 6,000 pound ice sculpture of one of New York’s most beloved statues.
As night, there are colorful lights around and the mall becomes a vibrant silent disco with live DJs to celebrate the Central Park Conservancy’s preservation efforts.
