Brookfield Place is hosting the annual Canstruction competition. It challenges 26 teams of architects, engineers, and contractors to build sculptures made entirely out of unopened cans of food. The unique structures will be placed on display and later donated to City Harvest for distribution to those in need.
City Harvest, 5013 nonprofit, operates in New York City through food rescue and distribution, and education. Since 1982, City Harvest has rescued more than 500 million pounds of food for hungry New Yorkers.
