Big City Fishing

Big City Fishing! Enjoy FREE fishing all summer long! This event is perfect for both adults and kids. They will learn how to fish while listening to environmental educators about various river science topics.

Hudson River Park is also excited to announce their new program, Shell-Ebrate Oysters! This free event educates guests on how oysters filter water, engineer reef habitat, and stabilize shorelines. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the park staff to restore oysters and learn how they benefit the health of the River.

FiDi Families Insiders: There will be NO program on Monday, July 4th due to the holiday. Pre-registration is highly recommended. 

Date: Sundays from June 5th – September 18th; Mondays from July 11th – August 22nd; Wednesdays from July 6th – August 24th

Time: 12p – 4p (Sunday) or 5p – 7:30p (Monday and Wednesday)

Location: Pier 25 at N. Moore Street or Pier 46 at Charles Street

Ages: 5 years and older

Fee: Free
