Be A City Hero!

Be a City Hero! Come and enjoy some hands-on science! Through exploring water, waste, and energy pollution, kids will discover their own impact on the city and ways they can lessen their impact. Students will explore pollution of NYC & discover ways they can make a difference in protecting the environment.

Your child will build a model village to pollute, plant a seed, create their own paper, and will estimate their carbon footprints. This hands on fun will help learn ways to change their city’s environment.

Space is limited to 15 school-age children and a parent/guardian chaperone! This is a first-come first-served event without registration! Stay tuned for more great NYPL events for the rest of the summer!
