Battery Park City Tree Recycling

You may be wondering where to put your tree after Christmas is over. Luckily, for downtowners, we have the Battery Park City Parks managing their annual tree recycling program. The program is in full swing and is ongoing through January 27th. 

Don’t forget to remove those tree decorations, first!  Trees will be chipped and used for mulch in the parks of Battery Park City. It’s also a great teaching opportunity, as you dismantle the street, to talk about recycling with the kiddos.
