ARTech in the Meatpacking for Kids and Adults Opens to the public

The Children’s Museum of the Arts is a great destination for kids of all ages. The SoHo based museum has launched ARTech, a two-month long pop-up activity center in the Meatpacking District comprised of STEAM-based experiential workshops, installations, and interactive moments for school age children and their accompanying adults. It is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 4+, RSVP is required for a timed entry slot.

ARTech features a GIF-Making Station, Ball Pool, Star Lab, Build It with Rigamajig and a Velocity Ramp.

Build It: Using Rigamajig and its wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts and rope will allow children to follow their curiosity to build and play.

Exploring Velocity: A making station where kids will create a vehicle and test their creation on a ramp, learning about velocity.
