Ami and Tami – An Interactive Adventurous Fairytale Experience for the Entire Family

Floating Tower presents Ami and Tami, a wondrous fairytale for children and families. This interactive theatrical experience  features singing, dancing, and infectious live music. This contemporary take on the familiar tale of Hansel and Gretel is replete with new characters and surprising twists that will engage and delight both kids and adults alike. 

The Blue Building’s unique, immersive space is transformed into a fairytale for children to experience with all of their senses. Instrument-wielding characters lead audiences through the forest, where they become part of Ami and Tami’s adventure, perhaps even playing a part in the story! Ami and Tami aims to put audience members in the action, moving, dancing, singing and imagining with the cast.

The story: Siblings kept forever inside doing schoolwork by their overbearing parents, Ami and Tami long for adventure in the outdoors. One night, hearing the cries of a supposed damsel in distress, the children escape into the enchanted woods. Their journey takes them to the clutches of the Evil Humm, the lair of Yaga the Witch and the depths of their own imaginations.
