All Aboard with Thomas and Friends. The holidays are winding down, but one event that helps wrap up the holidays is the annual visit by Thomas the Tank Engine to the New York Botanical Garden. It’s a short and sweet show that features Thomas and his Driver Sam that the under 5 set will love. Guests will also get to help decorate the station in time for the big Sodor surprise party. Though the event is North of Lower Manhattan, getting to the NY Botanical Garden can be done via the Metro-North Rail Road so its an added bonus for the train lovers in your family.

Plan on spending the afternoon at this great NYC destination and explore their 250-acres to run around and play. Don’t forget to visit the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, where everything is aimed at letting your little ones have a fun, engaging, safe time!
