Crafternoon at the Battery Park City Library. The Battery Park City Library hosts many children’s programs and storytime is one of our favorites. It’s a great way to introduce your children to the public library system. Kids can enjoy interactive stories, action songs, fingerplays, and spend time with other toddlers from the neighborhood. Story time is a great way to encourage listening skills, vocabulary and imagination. No reservation is required and the library has easy stroller access. Support your local library!
This month kids will read Rose’s Garden by Peter Reynolds and create their own bouquet of tissue-paper flowers to take home. Kids will use scissors to cut the paper, so a grown up helper will come in handy!
