The Irish Festival at the Children’s Museum of Art. Join the amazing folks at the Children’s Museum of Art to celebrate the diversity of New York City, as they present their sixth annual series of Multicultural Festivals that celebrate the artistic and cultural traditions of different communities. Kids of all ages will have a chance to learn about the Irish culture, listen to traditional songs and engage in a ton of Irish fun!

 

 

Saturday, March 1st Schedule: 

  • 11-11:30 AM Irish brothers Owen & Moley sing songs and tell stories from Ireland

  • 12-12:45 pm Owen & Moley Performance and Workshop

  • 1:15-2 PM Owen & Moley Performance and Workshop

  • 3 PM The Blind Seal Live Painting & Storytelling by the Fibin Theater Company

Sunday, March 2nd Schedule: 

  • 12-2 PM Liz Hanley & Cleek Schrey Fiddle Performance and Workshop
  • 2-4 PM Collette Murphy Paper Boats Workshops

Times: 10a – 5p

Cost: Free with general admission $11/per person (children under 1 are free and Seniors over the age of 65 are free)
