We are in the height of apple picking season and if you haven’t already done so, reserve the Zipcar, install the carseats, kid-friendly snacks and head out to Maskers Orchards as they celebrate 100 years in business. Kids can enjoy farm animals, pony rides and wagon rides and it’s a great way to spend the day with family. Varieties of apples include Macintosh, Prime Reds, Granny Smith, Cortland, Empire, Jonagold, Macoun, Red Delicious, Sparta Macintosh, Ida Red, Mutsu, Golden Delicious, Smoothee, Surprise and Rome.
