Looking for some ideas of how to spend your weekend in Lower Manhattan? Here are some itineraries that will take you through FiDi Tribeca and Battery Park City…

 

Tribeca & Battery Park City 

Start the day off in Tribeca at a one hour drop in session at the Craft Studio . Sessions are $26.95 and you can enjoy such crafts as clay play, woodworking, fabric, and much more. Be sure to reserve a spot before you go. 

After Craft Studio head over to Duane Park Patisserie for a sweet treat. They are home of the ring ding!

Finish the day (if not too chilly) at the brand new Playscape in Battery Park. This multi-leveled landscape includes granite slides and climbing structures that seamlessly blend with the surroundings . Invite children to explore high and low ladders footbridge, tunnel, and other fun that awaits. 

 

FiDi – Governor’s Island Day Trip 

Take the ferry over to Governors Island and explore their brand new Winter Village. The Village includes a 5,000 square foot ice skating rink, lawn games, fire pits, sled and bike rentals, and amazing food and warm beverages from Little Eva’s and Joe Coffee Company. FiDi – Day at the Movie’s 

Spend a toasty afternoon at the brand new Alamo Drafthouse. A perfect way to spend the day. Check  here for movie times. Being able to order food and drinks right to your seat, adds a fun touch to this Lower Manhattan theater.

FiDi- Seaport District 

How about an afternoon at the Seaport?! Start the day browsing for books at McNally Jackson. Then head over to Pier 17 to have lunch in your own glass house at The Greens. Then finish off with ice cream at Van Leeuwen

Battery Park City – Play Tourist for the Day

Grab tickets at One World Observatory and take in the jaw dropping views. Purchase tickets here, bonus there is a discount if you are a NYC resident. After your tour stop by Eataly Downtown for some pizza!

Battery Park City – Explore Brookfield Place 

Spend some time inside at Brookfield Place! The Luminaries exhibit runs until January 21. Enjoy the shops and then stop at Le District for lunch. Liberty Bistro is a perfect place if you want to get outside and enjoy a bite. They have heaters, comfortable and spaced out seating, and magical twinkling lights.
